Locationary Exits to Apple

September 2013: Apple has now publicly confirmed what we have been eager to tell people for a while – that they have acquired Toronto-based portfolio company Locationary to help improve their mapping and business data programs. Congratulations to founder Grant Ritchie, business partner Dan Servos and the whole team!! We invested in Locationary back in 2010 and re-invested in subsequent rounds with great partners like Extreme VP, Naavon Investments and the MaRS IAF. Locationary was brought to us by the Extreme VP folks as a top graduate of their incubation program.
